All the hardware announcements BEFORE the March 25th streaming announcement.

As anticipation skyrockets before tomorrow's (March 25, 2019) streaming announcement it's good to remember that in the previous week there were several hardware announcements from Apple as well.  Apple CEO Tim Cook has made it very clear that services (especially subscription services) are the future of Apple but hardware is still important.  For the Apple customer base thinking of upgrading here is a good overview of the surprisingly large number of new device announcements that were made the week before the streaming announcement:

In the meantime, you can enjoy a livestream Apple is providing from the Steve Jobs theater. The stream shows the interior of the theater from different angles. The view looking towards the stage appears to be an old-school CRT television set. Users have reported different pop-ups: an incoming call from Chris Evans aka Captain America. I happened to catch an 30-second audio clip with accompanying transcription stylized to look like an old PC-Dos based monitor. It sounded like an interview with Spike Lee describing his inspiration to get into film, but I could be wrong.
